Space @TU Darmstadt: Summer term 2018

Also in this term, we offer you in cooperation with the TU Darmstadt and ESA the Colloquium “Space @ TU Darmstadt”.

On tuesday, May 15th, ESA-Astronaut Thomas Reiter speaks about the ISS. Subject of the talk is “Die Internationale Raumstation ISS – Forschung im Erdorbit“.

On June 19th, Dr. Paolo Ferri, Head Mission Operations Department, ESOC in Darmstadt) gives a talk about “Europa forscht im Sonnensystem: ESA’s interplanetare Missionen”.

On Friday, June 29th, there will be the “Asteroid Day”. More information you can find here and here.

On June 3rd, there is the talk “Satellitenanwendungen für die Landwirtschaft 4.0”. The Speakers are Prof. Dr.-Ing Jürgen Beyer, institute FSR an der TU Darmstadt and Dr.-Ing. Osman Kalden, Telespazio VEGA Deutschland.

Last talk this term is on Monday, July 9th, with the topic “Reusability and Space – to orbit and in orbit” by Dr.-Ing. Chiara Manfletti, Programme Advisor to the Director General, ESA (Paris).

The talks are for free and are starting at 6 pm in room S208/171.
