Reusability and Space – to orbit and in orbit

Nowadays it costs more than 100 million euro to launch a rocket. That means, a kilogram of payload costs many ten thounds of euros. Therefore space agencies, public organizations and space companies want to lower these costs. Currently many organizations do research on reusable rockets to achieve this goal.
On Monday, July 9th, Dr.-Ing. Chiara Manfletti will give a talk with the title “Reusability and Space – to orbit and in orbit” to talk About this topic. Dr. Manfletti did her Ph.D. in rocket propulsion, is currently working in Paris als “Programme Advisor to the Director General” for ESA and gives a lecture at TU Darmstadt.

This will be the last talk of Space@TU Darmstadt in the summer term 2018.
